Accessibility at The Beach House
The Beach House is situated at the beginning of Brunswick Terrace just 10 metres from the beach which is easily accessed by crossing the road to the wide pavement area of the beach promenade.
There are seven steps up to the front door. You may park temporarily outside the front door to unload and sign in. You can also park on the single yellow line outside the door, overnight from 6pm to 10am. If you have a disability car badge you can park in the Brunswick Terrace area and a full explanation of parking arrangements can be provided at the time of checking in. If you are not registered disabled we can provide you with local information and maps to facilitate you parking appropriately in the summer months when restrictions apply.
The Beach House is a Georgian Grade II listed building and consequently there are conservation and planning regulation restrictions in respect to the property. There are no ground floor bedrooms and we do not have a lift. Therefore the building is unsuitable for people who require wheelchair access or who have mobility difficulties. If you have any specific requirements you are welcome to discuss these with us.
